Innovation Research Field Trip
Calling all retailers! Join Conexxus November 7 & 8, 2024 as we visit the Loss Prevention Research Council on the campus of University of Florida Gainesville.
As retail crime evolves and becomes increasingly aggressive, retailers need more innovative solutions to protect their assets, minimize losses, and create a safer environment for employees and shoppers everywhere. The Loss Prevention Research Council is committed to improving retail asset protection with evidence-based research and industry collaboration. The five pillars of the LPRC ecosystem are research, innovate, collaborate, inform, and engage. We’re on a mission to prevent and detect theft, fraud, and violence using research to find evidence-based solutions.
At LRPC, "We envision a world where retailers can more effectively prevent and manage crime and loss, allowing them to focus on serving their customers and communities."
Evidence-Based Research: At the Loss Prevention Research Council, we take a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to our research. Our research team focuses on developing practical solutions to the challenges faced by the retail industry, including the constantly evolving threats of theft, fraud, and violence.
The Innovate research lab building on the campus of the University of Florida is the central hub of the Loss Prevention Research Council’s mission to prevent and detect theft, fraud, and violence. Our state-of-the-art, multifunctional facilities provide a unique setting for our members to see the latest retail security solutions in action.
