PCATS Announces Three Executive Committee Appointments ALEXANDRIA, VA--The Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS) today announced new appointments to its Executive Committee of its Board of Directors. Fran Duskiewicz, executive vice president and CFO of Canastota, NY-based Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes, Inc., was named PCATS vice-president of technical policy; Rollie White, vice president, software engineering for Dresser Wayne, was named PCATS vice president for certification programs; and Ann Dozier, vice president of Coca-Cola Customer Business Solutions, was appointed a director-at-large to the PCATS Executive Committee.  All three will serve on the PCATS Executive Committee of its Board of Directors PCATS was established in 2003 to continue the development and maintenance of standards work initiated under the National association of convenience Stores (NACS) Technology Standards Project. The initial project focused its developmental efforts in the areas of network and system integration, business-to-business document exchange and payment systems. PCATS will seek implementation of these standards by the industry's retailers and suppliers. “Fran, Rollie and Ann are excellent additions to our Executive Committee,” said Scott Hartman, PCATS’ chair and president of York, PA-based Rutter’s Farm Stores.  “Fran has been a very active participant in the work of the technology standards initiatives through the years.   Fran knows all the key industry people and can act as an effective liaison in getting things done.  I have little doubt he will be invaluable in monitoring and assisting with the resolution of communications and issues between the technical standards and business committees. We are looking forward to having Fran’s assistance in coordinating the very important work of the five standing technical standards committees,”  Hartman added. “Rollie is a long-term veteran of the retail petroleum and convenience store industry and has been an active supporter of our standards efforts.  He has been leading our Certification Committee since its inception at the 2004 Winter Meetings and has demonstrated his dedication to the effort.  Rollie’s input and guidance at the initial organization meetings were welcomed and well respected by the whole group”  “Ann’s extensive supply-chain experience will be an invaluable resource to PCATS,” said Hartman. “She has more than 15 years experience with eBusiness and supply chain processes and she has over six years experience working with the convenience and petroleum marketing industry on technology initiatives, including serving as an executive on loan to NACS to assist with creating EDI standards for the industry.  Ann’s energy level on this subject is simply contagious”  Dozier also was a founding member of PCATS and served on the interim board of directors during the formative stages of the organization. “I’ve had the privilege of working with Ann on a number of initiatives both at NACS and the Uniform Code Council.  Her experience in DSD matters will be invaluable to the board and we look forward to working with her in this new capacity,” added John Hervey, PCATS’ executive director. “Fran and Rollie will be welcome additions to our executive committee and the staff looks forward to working closely with them.” -###-  The Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS) is composed of over 99 members representing major companies, both supplier and retailer, in the petroleum marketing and convenience industry.  PCATS mission is to develop, maintain and help members implement a variety of technology standards.  More information can be obtained at www.pcats.org. John HerveyExecutive Director and Chief Executive OfficerPetroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards 1600 Duke St., Alexandria, VA  22314-6100 direct dial (703) 518-4297, fax (703) 684-1625 [email protected]
