About the Webinar
As society moves more of its physical interactions online, our paper-based static identity methods are not capable of proving verified aspects of ourselves. Proving age, education, citizenship, and all the other qualities of our identities requires an interoperable, digital ecosystem that preserves privacy while enhancing accuracy. Anil John is leading the Department of Homeland Security’s efforts to provide a candidate framework with his leadership of the DHS’ Silicon Valley Innovation Program (SVIP); leveraging digital identity standards from the World Wide Web consortium in order to create a future of efficient identity on the web.
Gray and Anil discuss the state of the industry and the importance of ensuring the relationship between the issuing authority, citizen, and consumer of the identity.
